The NWRA is refocusing its activities to concentrate on delivering its key statutory responsibilities - the Regional Spatial Strategy, scrutiny of the Regional Economic Strategy, and regional housing and transport policy - in a streamlined and accountable manner. As a consequence, NW Node, which is outside this remit, will cease to operate at the end of September. The work previously undertaken by NW Node in implementing the region's future ICT strategy will be undertaken through partnerships with the sub-regional Digital Development Agencies.

NW Node would like to thank its past supporters for helping us to achieve so much over the last decade firstly as IRISI and later as NW Node.
